TF-C 1/4″ SLOTTED PVC FILTER SCH 40

This is an original slotted PVC filter measuring approximately 1″ in diameter and 8-12″ in length, featuring a 1″ SCH 80 PVC hose barb. This filter is designed for low-pressure pumps with a 1/2″ suction port, such as the 1/2″ air diaphragm pump or 1/2″ ported 12-volt pumps like the REMCO, Delavan 5850, Fatboy, and Everflo models that have a 1/2″ inlet. Despite its fine slots, this filter allows for excellent flow. Be cautious of filters with nylon or low-grade stainless-steel screens over the PVC, as these materials can degrade quickly and become dislodged into the pump.

It can be installed with an elbow for top-down drawing from the tank, enabling the user to insert the slotted filter end into the bung opening of a 55-gallon drum.

You will need to create and provide a PVC sleeve to slide over the hose, ensuring the filter remains at the bottom of the tank, using 1 1/2″ SCH 40 PVC.

Please do not hardpipe this filter directly into the tank; it is essential to be able to remove the slotted filter for cleaning out debris and salts from its surfaces.
